About The Position
As a Senior Electrical Site Quality Control professional at Black & Veatch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety. In this role, you will be responsible for assuring that the quality of the contractor's installed products meets all project requirements as outlined in the plans, specifications, and applicable codes. You will conduct thorough inspections, prepare detailed reports with photographic evidence, and perform task assignments for various teams involved in the project, including MOPO, Shutdown, Commissioning, and Start-Up Teams. Your expertise will be essential in auditing the site contractor's quality control programs and reviewing documentation for the certification of construction and testing equipment. You will also be involved in the surveillance of general and electrical contractor installations, focusing on medium voltage electrical systems, process control instrumentation, SCADA, and MODCOM. Your role will include inspecting conduit support racks, conduit installations, control piping, tubing, wiring, instruments, valves, and communication systems. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating punch list walkdowns and inspections, establishing and managing the punch list to ensure all issues are addressed promptly.
