Wieland is hiring a Sr. Electrical Maintenance Technician . The Sr. Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting plant electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Provides advanced technical capability and ownership of electrical work while supporting mechanical and facility maintenance as needed. This role is located in Verona, VA and will be fully on-site. Starting Pay: $40.00 with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications Schedule : Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience; strong electrical, and electrical controls.
  • knowledgeable with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Owns the performance and reliability of facility electrical systems.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex electrical issues safely and efficiently.
  • Uses electrical testing equipment appropriately and ensures repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Performs routine inspections to identify potential malfunctions or risks.
  • Identifies root causes of electrical failures and implements corrective actions.
  • Installs, tests, and maintains electrical wiring, fixtures, machinery, transformers, and circuit protection devices in compliance with codes.
  • Plans electrical layouts and modifications in accordance with regulatory and plant requirements.
  • Troubleshoots AC and DC electrical systems, including electrical controls.
  • Supports hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting as required.
  • Performs mechanical maintenance and repair of facility and production equipment.
  • Completes preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Maintains housekeeping standards and proper care of tools and equipment.
  • Assists with general facility maintenance as needed.
