About The Position

Identifying, defining, and solving complex technical problems which require a high level of ingenuity and innovativeness, encouraging optimum design within project schedule and funding limitations Interacting frequently as the organizational representative with the customer in the collection and translation of customer requirements to defined specifications, making frequent contact with customers, teaming partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain/exchange information, providing technical direction, and assisting in the resolution of technical issues Develops and delivers complex technical presentations to high level program management and customers, leading major program and/or design reviews and major proposal activities Performing extensive research and complex analysis on a major project to enhance the technical and economic development of the product and/or service, completed reports or studies may be deliverable engineering products to the customer Providing functional and technical guidance to engineers, providing leadership and technical direction for a project team Seeking new business opportunities in related technical areas, identifying new customers and/or developing additional tasking with existing customers #LI-SF1 FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, and eight years of experience in electrical design and engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials for electrical
  • Demonstrated ability to devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, and provide quality control of projects
  • Experience with RF/microwave test equipment and with the use of programs such as Labview
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analog circuit/network analysis, and an understanding of power semiconductor physics and the implication of device physics on terminal
  • Demonstrated ability with RF systems design, integration, testing, and repair of both surface and airborne
  • Demonstrated experience with assuring technical, project schedules, quality, and cost objectives
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing industry standard Computer Aided Design (CAD) products for documenting system designs such as Altium, Agilent Advanced Design System (ADS), LT Spice, Matlab, Labview, Computer Simulation Technology (CST), or High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS)
  • Applied skills in Audio, Video, and RF subsystems, testing, design
  • Experience with Personal (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis) (SPICE/PSPICE) modeling of circuits, schematic capture, printed circuit board layout, and circuit assembly/fabrication
