Sr Electrical Engineer
About The Position
Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software. Autocad electrical preferred.
