About The Position

The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide expert guidance in the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems within the Industrial Power and Utilities sector. This role focuses on high-power applications, requiring a strong background in electrical control systems and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• 5+ years experience in Power Engineering or Construction.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
• ETAP and/or SKM experience.
• Medium Voltage expertise.
• Protection Relay, Protection, Coordination and Programming knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Motors, Generators, and Transformers.
• Experience with Medium Voltage Circuit and Protection preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as IEEE and NEC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical systems and equipment following necessary regulations and standards.
• Design and implement power and control systems and solutions for high-power applications.
• Perform system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Analyze power system protection and relay coordination using tools such as ETAP, SKM and others.
• Design systems to meet industry and government standards such as IEEE and NEC.
• Provide technical direction for engineering processes and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all systems and equipment.
