About The Position

Sr Electrical Design Engineer We are looking for a Sr Electrical Design Engineer to join our Exlar team! As our Sr Electrical Design Engineer you will, perform a wide variety of tasks related to leading new product development, assisting in production sustaining efforts, and providing automated test support. Additional responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams, consisting of software and mechanical engineers, in support of the business unit. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years’ design experience in electronics (power electronics preferred)
Experience with Altium for schematic capture and PCBA layout
Must be a US Person
Computer literate with some working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent analysis and data collection skills
Mechanically inclined

Nice To Haves

Masters degree preferred

Responsibilities

Translating product level requirements into implementable circuits
Embedded systems including circuit design, PCBA layout and power management
Coordinating with purchasing and board house for fabrication and assembly of engineering test
Developing and executing Design Verification Testing
Working with various suppliers and regulatory agencies
Assisting with designing, documenting, and maintaining automated test equipment
