About The Position

Leads the identification and implementation of optimal technical solutions for complex business challenges, ensuring seamless integration across systems. It involves developing and managing work plans for system upgrades and enhancements, overseeing configuration and maintenance across all environments, and analyzing workflows to improve processes and resolve operational issues. Responsibilities include authoring detailed specifications and documentation, designing and executing advanced test scenarios to validate system performance, and contributing to the development of technology standards and best practices. The position also provides input on resource estimation, ensures timely delivery of all tasks, and proactively addresses risks and variances to maintain project integrity.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 4 years Direct Epic build, implementation and support experience and 7 years Progressive experience in Information Services or combination of Information Services and direct Health Care experience.
  • Medium to Large-scale implementation/upgrades and Comprehensive test plans development
  • Large Hospital/IDN Information Technology Experience and/or Healthcare Operations Experience
  • EPIC Application Certification plus one additional Primary or Secondary EPIC Certification
  • Large Project Management Implementation/Upgrade Facilitation
  • Integrated Systems Architecture Planning, Development and Implementation
  • Technical Collaboration (e.g. Interfaces, Hardware and Reporting)
  • Team Leadership Coaching and Mentoring
  • Triaging On-call/DR/BC
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • EPIC Certification - Epic Systems Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or Healthcare
  • Master’s Degree Computer Science or Healthcare

Responsibilities

  • Leads efforts to identify optimal technical solutions for complex business issues and ensures integration across systems.

  • Oversees configuration, implementation, and maintenance of technical requirements across all environments.
  • Analyzes and improves work processes, evaluates feasibility for medium to large projects, and resolves operational challenges.
  • Authors detailed specifications and documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance with standards.
  • Designs and executes advanced test scenarios, validating system integrity and performance.
  • Contributes to defining technology standards and best practices.
  • Provides input on resource estimation for projects and initiatives.
  • Ensures timely completion of deliverables, proactively addressing risks and variances.
