About The Position

Hybrid Position St. Joseph's is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare, while helping the underserved through clinics, community grants and outreach programs. We are currently seeking a Senior Dosimetrist to join our Radiation Oncology Team! Patient treatment planning including 2-D, 3-D, IMRT, VMAT, SRS, SBRT, HDR, and other brachytherapy procedures. Assists in orientation and training new dosimetrist(s) and radiation therapist(s). Provides support to the therapists for complex treatment set-ups. Assists physicists in data collection and quality checks. Assists the physics team in quality improvement methodologies and quality assurance. Assists in instruction and training of Radiation Therapists, nurses, and medical students in physics and dosimetry related subjects. Offers suggestions and assists the Radiation Oncologist for optimal treatment planning procedures and protocols. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years experience as Certified Medical Dosimetrist
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD)

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree
  • One year as a Radiation Therapist
