Provides second level engineering support in data entry, document generation, and document storage and maintenance in FAA standardized word processing applications. Assists in the production of System Support Directives, handbooks, notices, and other documentation required to support the NAS and NAS support systems. Works with automation systems used for numbering, recording, documenting, tracking and reporting NAS system status and procedures. Supports data interchange between systems, information sharing, and security techniques for users operating workstation and LAN systems. Develops, writes, and edits technical material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related highly technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures. Observes production, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail. May write articles, and public/employee relation releases. May edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications Education & Experience : Candidate must have High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum Eight (8) years of documentation experience. Works under close supervision. Knowledgeable in data entry, document generation, and document storage and maintenance through word processing applications.
