Your Role in Our Mission At Enveda, every role drives impact. As the Sr. Director, Translational Immunology and Pharmacology, you will lead the function that sits at the intersection of discovery and development - integrating mechanistic insights with clinical disease understanding to design the biomarker and translational strategies that substantiate our therapeutic hypotheses in patients. You are, above all, a communicator and translator: distilling complex, niche scientific data into what it means for our assets, clearly and compellingly, for audiences ranging from bench scientists to clinicians to senior leadership to investors. Translational Medicine tells the story of how our medicines work, and you will own that narrative. You will be part of the ENV-294 asset team, reporting into the asset lead. At Enveda, we organize around dedicated, asset-centered teams - small, focused, and empowered groups that own every dimension of their program. We leverage AI and other force multipliers across clinical operations, medical writing, data analysis, and decision-making to stay lean and maximize impact per person. You will be expected to contribute beyond your core function, embrace an uncommon pace and breadth of responsibility, and move with urgency at every stage, without compromising quality. Speed is not a nice-to-have, it is central to how we operate and how we win. Above all, the program comes first - every decision, trade-off, and priority is measured against what best moves the program forward to best serve the portfolio.

Requirements

  • PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent in immunology, pharmacology, translational medicine, or a related life sciences discipline
  • 10+ years of translational science experience in biotech or pharma, with depth in immunology and biomarker strategy development - including designing tiered biomarker plans that link directly to program decisions and value drivers
  • Exceptional ability to distill complex scientific data into clear narratives for diverse audiences - from bench scientists to clinicians to investors - and to do so with speed and intellectual honesty
  • A strategic mindset that balances scientific ambition with operational pragmatism - knowing what evidence is needed, when it’s needed, and what decisions it will enable at each development stage
  • Experience managing CRO relationships and external biomarker assay vendors, with a track record of enabling rapid turnaround
  • Leadership experience managing teams of 5 or more in a translational or biomarker function
  • A collaborative leader who thrives in a dynamic environment where our competitive advantage comes from telling novel mechanistic stories that have never been told before

Responsibilities

  • Lead translational immunology strategy and execution for one of our lead assets in the clinic, focusing on biomarker development, translational plans, and scientific leadership of a novel best-in-disease mechanism

  • Build and maintain strong CRO relationships that enable the rapid turnaround needed to react to clinical observations
  • Translate emerging data into clear, actionable narratives for asset teams, leadership, and external audiences - with the speed and intellectual honesty the business demands
  • Serve as a core member of the asset team, partnering closely with MOATID on mechanistic hypotheses, Clinical Development on protocol design, and Clinical Operations on sample collection logistics and site feasibility
