About The Position

Sr. Director of Shopper-Consumer Insights The Sr. Director of Shopper-Consumer Insights leads strategic insight initiatives across multiple client platforms, translating shopper and consumer data into enterprise-level solutions. This role oversees a team of analysts, manages client relationships, and drives innovation in data integration and storytelling. The Sr. Director is responsible for aligning insights with business goals, mentoring talent, and influencing cross-functional strategies. Job Will Remain Open Until Filled The Company is one of North America’s leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8–10 years experience in relevant field
  • 35% travel expected
  • Oversees multiple shopper insights clients and platforms
  • Leads strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Drives profitability through insights and client engagement
  • Mastery of syndicated data platforms
  • Deep experience with shopper panel and geodemographic data
  • Strategic thinking and consulting skills
  • Strong presentation and storytelling capabilities
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Expertise in category management principles
  • Advanced proficiency in productivity and presentation software

Responsibilities

  • Client and stakeholder engagement: Leads strategic discussions with clients, customers, and data providers Develops enterprise-wide solutions and ensures alignment with shopper-centric initiatives
  • Presentation development and delivery: Creates and delivers high-impact presentations integrating multiple data sources Serves as subject matter expert in client meetings and internal strategy sessions
  • Associate development: Mentors and guides direct reports Facilitates best practice sharing and fosters a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Data analytics leadership: Oversees integration of scan, point-of-sale, panel, and geodemographic data Ensures insights are actionable and aligned with client objectives
  • Job duties include additional responsibilities as assigned by one’s supervisor or other manager related to the position/department.
