About The Position

As our Senior Director, R&D, Cytology, you will drive visionary leadership and operational excellence for a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional colleagues to develop, launch, and support game-changing diagnostic products—especially in cervical cancer screening, digital pathology, and sample processing. Your leadership will shape both the future of our portfolio and the everyday experience of patients worldwide.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in R&D, product development, or sustaining engineering (with at least 5 years in senior leadership), preferably in diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) strongly preferred.
• Deep technical expertise in biology, cytology, and clinical laboratory testing practices.
• In-depth knowledge of medical device regulations and standards (FDA, ISO, CE Mark).
• Track record of leading successful product development projects from concept to commercialization.
• Proven ability to inspire, build, and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Passion for innovation, operational excellence, and patient-centric service.
