About The Position

LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network, built to create economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce. Our products help people make powerful connections, discover exciting opportunities, build necessary skills, and gain valuable insights every day. We’re also committed to providing transformational opportunities for our own employees by investing in their growth. We aspire to create a culture that’s built on trust, care, inclusion, and fun – where everyone can succeed. Join us to transform the way the world works. This role will be based in San Francisco or Mountain View. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. We are hiring a Senior Director to help build how the company makes workforce and organizational decisions at scale. This role sits inside People Analytics and operates as part of LinkedIn’s broader decision-making system. The focus is on translating data, business context, and real-world signals into clear, actionable decisions that shape how the company grows, operates, and performs. People Analytics at LinkedIn is evolving into more than an insights function. The goal is to build a decision system for the company. A way of consistently translating workforce data, business context, and real-world signals into high-quality decisions at scale. This role sits at the center of that shift. It exists to help the company move faster and with more clarity by: Connecting data, context, and strategy into a coherent enterprise view Making tradeoffs explicit when decisions are complex or ambiguous Ensuring workforce insights are framed in a way leaders can actually use Shaping how People Analytics focuses its effort against the decisions that matter most Over time, this work turns People Analytics into part of the company’s operational decision-making system. Not just informing leaders after the fact, but actively shaping how decisions are framed, prioritized, and executed. This role is for someone who wants to operate at that edge. Where strategy, data, and judgment come together to improve how a company runs. This is not a reporting role and not an analytics production role. It is a senior strategy role that uses workforce data as a core input to improve decision quality, speed, and clarity across the company.
