About The Position

The Sr. Director, Operations – Bagcraft is accountable for the multi‑year operational strategy and daily execution of the Bagcraft operating unit. This leader drives operational excellence by optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and fostering innovation through empowered teams and a culture of continuous improvement. This role reports to the SVP, Operations – Quick Service Restaurants and partners closely with cross‑functional counterparts. Plant managers across Bagcraft sites report directly to this position.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ leadership experience in manufacturing operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field; MBA strongly preferred
  • Proven experience deploying, leading, and improving global operational processes across internal operations and external supply chains
  • Strong experience partnering with commercial and cross‑functional teams (e.g., new product planning, product life‑cycle management)
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems
  • Strong project management and change leadership capabilities
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business unit goals, translating them into measurable targets and actions.
  • Lead operational budgeting and financial management, including forecasting, performance monitoring, cost‑reduction initiatives, and corrective action planning.
  • Establish and manage KPIs to evaluate operational performance and provide regular updates to executive leadership.
  • Lead and develop plant managers, ensuring effective day‑to‑day operations and cultivating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies through strong quality systems and operational discipline.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Services and Innovation teams to identify and deploy technologies that improve productivity and support innovation.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure reliable, world‑class delivery and uninterrupted operations.
  • Align operations with customer needs, driving initiatives that enhance engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
