The Sr Director, Operational BI and Data Integrity provides strategy, oversight, and direction for the department. This role develops, aligns, and implements practices to optimize efficiencies, increase scalability, allow for growth, and deliver a positive customer experience for all participants. The position is responsible for process improvements that are in alignment with company strategy, mission, vision, and core values, ensuring the efficient and compliant delivery of all contracts and services.

  • Develops, implements, and guides strategic direction for the department/function(s).
  • Oversees, coaches, mentors, motivates, supports, and develops a cross-functional team of seasoned people leaders.
  • Oversees goal setting/review, regular guidance and 1-1 check ins, career development/planning, upskilling, resource allocation, staffing, budget creation/management, succession planning, DE&I initiatives, and other People & Culture programs/activities.
  • Fosters accountability, collaboration, and innovation to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • Promotes innovation, quality, process improvements, knowledge sharing, and implementation of best practices.
  • Develops and oversees cross-functional workflows to identify the scope and timing of deliverables.
  • Researches and implements new strategies and techniques to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of best practices.
  • Accountable for all areas of cross-functional delivery to meet customer contractual obligations and/or service levels.
  • Develops and aligns operational metrics and goals.
  • Cultivates a working culture rooted in the company’s mission, vision, and core values.
  • Creates meaningful impact on process improvements across all aspects of the department.
  • Uses data and metrics to identify and create new policies and amend existing policies to improve operations.

  • Leverages technology to streamline efficiencies and provide innovative solutions.
  • Maintains working knowledge and compliance of any local, state, and national regulations identified as regulatory requirement.
  • Forecasts, creates, and maintains annual budgets, reviewing on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Acts as a liaison for the organization and/or department.
  • Delivers presentations tailored to effectively convey strategy and outcomes at all levels.
  • Creates and maintains strategic relationships and searches for ways to extend and expand business relationships.
  • May provide operational oversight of third party vendors including participating in the negotiation, research, review and approval of all applicable contracts and external vendors.
  • Partners with People & Culture to improve the team member experience, promote team member development, master workforce planning, oversee performance management, and improve overall team member engagement and retention.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in related field within Healthcare industry.
  • Significant people leadership experience with the proven ability to guide, develop, support, mentor, and coach a team of executives.
  • Mastery of applicable specialty (value-based care models, Medicare Advantage, NCQA Accreditation, Fulfillment, logistics, vendor management, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of medical information systems, medical terminology and coding, managed care, and Medicare and Medicaid programs.
  • Phenomenal leadership, collaboration, and team building skills.
  • Excellent business acumen with the proven ability to foster relationships, gain credibility, influence, and partner internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a distinguished ability to create results in a high-performing and high-growth environment.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills and strong operational focus.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to identify and define business problems and issues and develop strategic and financial frameworks to ensure mitigated risk.
  • Strong understanding of the current and future state of the healthcare industry.
  • Master's degree.
