Hims & Hers is a public company, traded on the NYSE under the ticker symbol “HIMS.” We are seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Director of Technology and AI to lead the transformation of our Clinical and Customer Operations. You will be a senior member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the strategy and execution for a critical segment of our technology and AI portfolio. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to lead teams. You will work closely with leadership across engineering, data science, clinical, and business functions to turn a bold vision into a portfolio of impactful, scalable, and ethical AI solutions that drive significant business growth and help our customers feel great.

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of technology and AI professionals, including hiring, mentoring, and developing senior talent.
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for your specific area of the AI and machine learning portfolio.
  • Act as a key thought leader on technology and AI product innovation, influencing senior leadership on investments and strategic direction for your domain.
  • Drive the end-to-end execution of your team's product portfolio, establishing processes and standards that ensure the delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions.
  • Foster a culture of deep customer empathy, data-driven decision-making, and rapid experimentation to accelerate learning and innovation.
  • Partner with senior leaders across the company to ensure strategic alignment and resource allocation for your team's technology and AI priorities.
  • Establish and champion a robust framework for the ethical and responsible development of AI, ensuring fairness, transparency, and patient privacy are at the core of your products.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree (MBA, PhD) is preferred, but not required.
  • 10+ years of product and technology experience, with at least 5 years in a people management role leading technical teams.
  • A proven track record of building and shipping successful, large-scale AI, machine learning, or data-intensive products from the ground up.
  • Exceptional strategic and business acumen, with experience translating high-level business objectives into a clear, investable product strategy that drives measurable results.
  • Outstanding communication, influence, and executive presence, with a demonstrated ability to align and inspire senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven success in building and leading high-performing product management teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or other regulated industries is preferred.
