We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Senior Director of Sales to lead our growth and sales efforts across the West Coast based in our Los Angeles office. This leadership role is responsible for mentoring a high-performing sales team, defining the regions strategy, and driving significant revenue growth across a diverse and dynamic client base. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of the agency and client direct landscape, a passion for building & growing teams, and a proven ability to forge executive-level partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital media landscape, including CTV, OTT, and programmatic advertising, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth. You will be instrumental in scaling our presence and establishing Cadent as the indispensable partner for agencies and brands navigating the future of media.

Requirements

  • Be a creative thinker, solution-oriented leader, and hunter!
  • 10+ years of experience in digital media sales, with a deep expertise in advanced TV, CTV/OTT, and programmatic solutions.
  • A minimum of 4+ years in a sales management role, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Demonstratable success in creating and executing sales strategies that have led to significant revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Extensive, senior-level relationships within the West Coast media community.
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in forecasting and strategic planning.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company effectively at an executive level.
  • Strong discovery and strategic-selling skills, with an ability to uncover client needs and pain points.
  • Deep knowledge of the advertising technology ecosystem, including DSPs, SSPs, and data-driven advertising.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and results driven personality.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to capture market share and drive substantial revenue growth within the Los Angeles Market.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Assume ownership of the regions sales forecast, pipeline management, agency partnerships, and growth expectations for the team.
  • Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships with the leadership (C-Suite, Principals, VPs) of key agencies and brands, positioning Cadent as a long-term strategic partner.
  • Act as a senior sponsor for agency partnerships and serve as the primary escalation point for critical client matters.
  • Define and optimize the go-to-market strategy for the region, including territory design and sales enablement resources.
  • Serve as the voice of the customers internally, providing crucial feedback to executive, product, and marketing teams to shape Cadent’s offerings and competitive positioning.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop top sales talent to add to our best-in-class team.
  • Implement and manage scalable sales processes, reporting, and analytics to ensure operational excellence and predictable revenue growth.
