About The Position

The position is based in Washington, DC, and is responsible for the sales operations of DC Mayflower and Manor in Williamsburg, VA. The role requires up to 25% travel to Virginia. The primary responsibility is to establish and execute the site-level sales strategy, coordinate sales efforts, and provide direction to the sales management team. The individual will oversee the customer sales experience, respond to customer concerns, and ensure effective communication between the sales and marketing departments. The role also involves performance management, coaching, recruiting, and selection of the sales workforce.

Requirements

• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Sales Leadership.
• Minimum 5 years experience in sales with vacation ownership.
• Ability to receive DC RE License required.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.

• Experience in managing external relationships with local hotel general managers.
• Strong public presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute site-level sales strategy.
• Coordinate on-site sales and sales administration.
• Provide direction to the sales management team.

• Coordinate sales efforts with the Sr. Director of Marketing.
• Participate in performance management, coaching, recruiting, and selection of the sales workforce.

• Develop and implement daily administrative procedures.
• Forecast and budget annual sales targets.
• Manage guest experience and sales floor efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts and work with vendors.
• Develop future sales managers and implement self-development programs.
• Conduct formal performance reviews and create individual development plans.
