About The Position

The Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing at Brookdale Senior Living is responsible for maintaining and improving occupancy levels and revenue production for assigned communities. This role involves managing the sales process, developing relationships with residents and referral sources, and executing marketing plans to achieve community occupancy goals. The position requires strong leadership and analytical skills to coach and train sales teams, monitor performance, and coordinate business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years sales experience, preferably in the retirement industry or medical/pharmaceutical sales.
• Proven track record of generating and closing a high percentage of qualified leads.
• Valid driver's license required for frequent car travel.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of the organization and business.

• Experience with contact management databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve occupancy levels and revenue production of assigned communities.
• Manage the sales process and complete all activities required for a sale.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, family, and professional referral sources.
• Represent the community and increase awareness through participation in outside events.
• Coordinate with business development coordinators/directors to generate referrals.
• Assist management with resident retention efforts.
• Partner with management to develop and execute marketing plans.
• Provide coaching, training, and assistance for sales and marketing activities.
• Monitor conversion ratios and analyze data to prepare reports.
• Supervise the activities of the Marketing Coordinator and/or Sales Counselor.
