The Impact You’ll Make in this Role The Senior Director, Incubator Leader will report directly to the Consumer Business Group R&D SVP, refine and lead a cutting-edge innovation incubator that accelerates disruptive products, breakthrough technologies, and transformative business models within CBG. This role is a catalyst for growth combining deep technical expertise with sharp business acumen to identify emerging trends, rigorously test bold ideas, and scale winning solutions that deliver significant commercial impact. The leader will evolve the incubator’s strategy, strengthen its operating model, and ensure it continues to drive meaningful innovation and unlock new growth opportunities. As a Sr. Director of New Market Innovation, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Lead the incubator’s technical strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate and CBG growth objectives. Establish and maintain frameworks for technology scouting, feasibility analysis, and commercialization pathways. Drive decision-making using data-driven insights, market analytics, and technical risk assessments. Source and evaluate early-stage technologies, platforms, and business models from internal R&D and external ecosystems. Lead technical due diligence and proof-of-concept development for high-potential ideas . Lead the structured stage-gate processes for rapid prototyping, validation, and scaling. Lead product development team to ensure technical viability. Collaborate with finance, marketing, and commercial teams to build business cases, and go-to-market strategies. Translate complex technical concepts into clear business implications for executive stakeholders. Manage incubator infrastructure Apply agile methodologies and lean startup principles to accelerate innovation cycles. Optimize resource allocation across multiple technical projects with varying risk profiles. Represent the incubator within CBG and the enterprise.

  • Advanced degree or higher in a business or STEM related field (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Thirteen (13) years of experience leading end‑to-end innovation processes within technical or business fields in private, public, government, or military environments.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Five (5) years of consumer products marketing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Executive and board level presentation experience
