Post Consumer Brands is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head their transportation team, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on their logistics network and drive strategic initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of industry experience in supply chain, with at least 5 years in management.
  • Proficient in transportation management systems, shipment planning, routes, rates, and settlement systems.
  • Proven track record in driving carrier performance through continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with ocean, Mexico, Canada, rail, and intermodal traffic, as well as network modeling.
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA/DOT regulations, HAACP, and GMPs.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations and supply planning within a plant, integration, and acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for a $200M annual freight budget and manage approximately 50 carriers/3PLs.
  • Develop and implement freight strategies, lead process improvement teams, and provide direction for timely, cost-efficient transportation of shipments.
  • Partner with various departments and providers to optimize the flow of goods and enhance order visibility.
  • Represent Post-Consumer Brands at industry events and associations.
  • Drive automation and enhance reporting through technology solutions, leading the strategy for the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Manage staff and operations, develop performance measures, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Design logistics networks, collaborate on freight bids and contracts, and implement cost control methods.
  • Measure KPIs, provide guidance on transportation-related issues, and work with Customer Operations and Sales to improve service levels.
  • Maintain strong relationships with transportation vendors, ensure food safety and security, and support quarterly carrier reviews.
  • Lead efforts to reduce manual processes, configure and administer TMS, and guide IT resources on technology enhancements.
