About The Position

The Senior Director, Marketing & Commercial Excellence will play a critical leadership role in shaping and driving the company's global marketing strategy while optimizing commercial operations and execution. Leading two high-impact teams— Marketing team and Commercial Excellence team—this individual will be responsible for developing and executing global marketing initiatives, enhancing sales enablement, improving pipeline visibility, and driving customer engagement across all geographies. This role requires a data-driven, customer-centric leader with deep experience in B2B marketing, sales operations, and commercial strategy, preferably within MedTech, pharmaceuticals, or related sectors.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, commercial excellence, or sales operations, including 3+ years of direct team leadership.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a global, matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of the MedTech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing global marketing and commercial strategies.
  • Proficiency with enterprise CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA with a focus in Marketing, Strategy, or related field.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing services or contract development/manufacturing organization (CDMO/CMO).
  • Familiarity with demand generation, digital marketing, and marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global marketing team in developing and executing strategic Go-To-Market plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
  • Build and strengthen brand positioning and value propositions tailored to the MedTech and life sciences sectors.
  • Oversee creation of content, campaigns, events, and tools that drive lead generation, customer engagement, and thought leadership.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing, account management, sales and commercial excellence teams globally.
  • Lead the commercial excellence team in enhancing sales force effectiveness, customer targeting, and commercial analytics.
  • Drive adoption and optimization of enterprise CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and implement best practices in account planning, sales process design, and opportunity management across global regions.
  • Partner with regional sales leaders to identify gaps, drive improvements, and support strategic commercial initiatives.
