The role of the Senior Director, Health Policy, Implementation Science and Patent Access Research is to serve as the executive leader for the Health Policy and Patient Access Research (HPPAR) Center of Excellence (COE) within the Global Access Value and Economics (GAVE) organization at Intuitive. As a member of GAVE Leadership team, this role will manage and provide leadership oversight to the COE and three key supporting functions (Health Policy Analysis and Synthesis, Health Policy Implementation Science and Patient Access Research) within the center. This leader will work cross-functionally with Global Public Affairs, Marketing, Sales and Business Unit Leadership, Corporate Strategy, along with teaming with other GAVE COE’s and region/country leads to execute the strategies and tactics within operating plans. This individual will be responsible for programmatic development and operating plan execution of the COE. This includes conceptualization, design and execution of programs and initiatives with objectives to inform and enrich policy development and implementation science efforts in support of specific outlined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics of the COE. This will involve macro healthcare and public health trends and implications globally/nationally; health policy development through partnerships, synthesis, and briefs; stakeholder engagement and community need’s assessments; program design and implementation practice pilots; and continuous improvement through planning, monitoring and evaluation.
