The Senior Director of HCP Marketing (Neuropsychiatry) will be a critical role and visible leader within the US Neuropsychiatry Franchise, leading, planning and executing sophisticated HCP activation and educational strategies for a product in the midst of launch. Reporting to the VP/Head Neuropsychiatry Marketing, the Senior Director of HCP Marketing will lead the HCP marketing team and matrix in the development and execution of overall U.S. branded and unbranded strategies/plans to educate, activate and support customers treating Postpartum Depression (PPD). Biogen, with their commercialization partner, launched this treatment last year and is currently in a brand growth phase.

  • Serve as U.S. HCP-lead to develop clear HCP strategy, design creative campaigns, develop messaging and coordinate a customer experience that meets HCP practices/systems.
  • Lead a team of marketers charged to educate and activate key HCP audiences for the first indicated oral therapy for postpartum depression (PPD).
  • Focus on leading a team for both branded and disease education initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally and across channels.
  • Sit on the franchise leadership team to lead design and implementation of the 3 year brand roadmap.
  • Define and articulate clear market development and customer experience strategies.
  • Deliver a commercialization plan that proactively grows product adoption and shapes the market.
  • Manage overall HCP media planning and content strategies including management of budgets >$15MM.
  • BS/BA Required; MBA Preferred.
  • 12+ years of commercial experience, with 8+ years of marketing or marketing adjacent experience in the pharma or biotech industry, including launch.
  • Experience in complex/under-developed therapeutic areas; Women's Health, Neuroscience, Psychiatry or Immunology experience a plus.
  • Experience in designing and driving omnichannel media campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to perform in fast paced environments and ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong project and vendor management track record, including resource allocation and fiscal management.
  • Experience leading and developing direct and matrixed teams.
  • Experience with a collaboration partner and cross-functional leadership.
