The Senior Director, Global Procurement – Travel, Fleet & Meetings is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the procurement and operational management of the organization's global travel, fleet, meetings and corporate card categories. This role combines strategic sourcing expertise with operational excellence to drive cost efficiencies, enhance supplier relationships, and deliver innovative solutions that align with the company’s business objectives. The leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement strategies with travel, fleet, and meetings operations, ensuring compliance, sustainability, and service excellence. This role will require 4 days per week onsite at Regeneron's offices; which may include Warren, NJ with 2 days per week required in our Global HQ in Tarrytown . This is not available as a fully remote / hybrid work. As the Sr. Director, Global Procurement this role may include: Strategic Procurement Leadership, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Relationship Management Develop and execute global category strategies for travel, fleet, meetings, and corporate card programs, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier negotiations and contract management, to achieve cost savings, sustainability, and risk mitigation. Drive Supplier Relationship Management, ensuring effective partnerships that support organizational goals and enhance supplier collaboration Identify and implement best practices across procurement and sourcing functions to optimize spend and enhance supplier performance. Leverage data analytics and market intelligence to optimize spend, enhance supplier performance, and identify trends. Advise senior leadership on procurement strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations. Act as an enterprise leader by driving alignment across global teams, influencing strategic priorities, and championing initiatives that deliver value and innovation across the organization. Travel, Fleet, and Meetings Management Oversee global travel programs, ensuring compliance with policies, traveler satisfaction, and cost efficiency. Manage relationships with travel vendors (TMCs, airlines, hotels), and drive adoption of technology for operational improvements. Lead global fleet strategies, including procurement, leasing, and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with safety and sustainability standards. Develop and manage a global meetings and events program, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver cost-effective and innovative solutions. Corporate Card Program Oversight Manage the corporate card program, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and alignment with company policies. Partner with Finance and stakeholders to drive adoption and optimize spend visibility. Compliance and Sustainability Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all procurement and operational activities. Drive sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction and environmentally friendly practices. Team Leadership and Development Build and lead a high-performing global team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members. Lead active performance management and talent development initiatives, fostering skill growth, career progression, and continuous improvement within the team Leadership and Influence: Inspire and motivate teams by promoting a positive, engaging work environment.
