About The Position

Hanger Clinic is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Front-End Revenue Cycle to oversee and optimize key functions including new patient scheduling, benefits and authorization, document management, financial counseling, and billing. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of revenue cycle management, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of RCM consulting/client facing experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of revenue cycle management.
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing procedures, and insurance processes.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving operational efficiencies.
  • Strategic planning and execution.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Financial Clearance workflows and operations.
  • Develop and implement efficient scheduling processes to ensure timely and accurate new patient appointments.
  • Manage and streamline the verification of patient benefits and obtaining necessary authorizations to ensure coverage and payment.
  • Ensure the proper handling, storage, and retrieval of patient documents from key referral sources.
  • Oversee financial counseling services to assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilities and available options.
  • Supervise billing processes to ensure accurate and timely billing of services rendered and address any billing discrepancies promptly.
