About The Position

Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Data Management & Engagement, the Senior Director, Enterprise Data Management & Engagement will lead Data Stewardship Strategy and Operations. This role supports Gartner's ability to make data-driven decisions and solve data problems that impact business performance, while establishing foundational data practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in consulting, communications, sales, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; can clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
  • Strong collaborator and business partner.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity.
  • Proficient project and program management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of analysts, product managers, and project managers.
  • Build Stewardship Career pathing and a specialization model.
  • Work cross-functionally on critical data challenges to drive data ownership, quality, and enable the business to use data to drive insights, with a focus on seller experience and productivity.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on strategic goals and operational requirements.
  • Drive collaboration, engagement, and alignment across departments.
  • Evolve and optimize the Stewardship process, including streamlining the intake model, building clear escalation paths, and measuring and driving stakeholder experience.
  • Build automated tools to reduce the need for manual review.
  • Expand & productize Stewardship support.
  • Surface key themes and insights and create a feedback loop to share learnings to inform business stakeholders and internal CDAO teams.
  • Partner across CDAO on Data Quality & Accuracy metrics and data quality initiatives.
  • Communicate business value of CDAO initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with CDAO Leadership on strategic priorities and support with development of ‘executive level' meeting material and presentation.
