The Sr. Director, Enterprise Architecture / Chief Architect at Quartz is a leadership role responsible for defining the enterprise architecture strategy and leading technology transformation initiatives. This position aims to ensure a scalable, secure, and business-aligned infrastructure that supports the organization's mission of improving health and well-being in communities. The role involves collaboration across various teams and managing vendor relationships to enhance operational efficiency and member experiences.

  • Develop and execute a unified enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory standards (HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Drive transformation with platforms like Salesforce, Epic Systems, Azure Cloud, and Snowflake.
  • Oversee data architecture to enable real-time insights, advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI projects.
  • Design scalable, secure technology platforms that meet organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Mentor a high-performing architecture team and manage key vendor relationships.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 12+ years in enterprise IT architecture, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Expertise in IT platforms and tools within the healthcare field: Salesforce, Epic Systems, Azure Cloud, and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HCM).
  • Proven success leading cloud adoption, legacy modernization, API-driven integration, and data architecture initiatives.
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-year enterprise architecture initiatives with cross-functional teams.
  • TOGAF 9 Certified (Foundations and Practitioner) and Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Deep understanding of healthcare IT regulations and privacy (HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM), DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Annual salary range of $180K-$220K
