We are seeking a Senior Director of Data Science to lead the Couple Growth & Lifecycle Zone, a strategic cross-functional team bridging Marketing to Product. In this role, you will ensure that every couple’s journey—from discovery to membership, onboarding, engagement, and beyond—is thoughtful, intuitive, and supported by smart, data-informed science. You will define the vision and roadmap for the Zone’s data science strategy, guiding teams to create predictive models, experimentation frameworks, and personalized experiences that help couples make meaningful progress in their planning journeys with confidence and ease. This role partners closely with leaders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Design to translate our mission into tangible, couple-centered outcomes.

  • Growth & Lifecycle Data Science Strategy Shape the data science vision across acquisition, membership, onboarding, and engagement, ensuring every insight and model contributes to real progress for couples .
  • Translate complex business goals into scientific frameworks that anticipate couples’ needs and guide Product, Engineering, and Marketing priorities.
  • Lead predictive and personalization modeling, including action likelihood, recommendations, onboarding, and engagement nudges.
  • Experimentation & Insights Define frameworks for experimentation and lift measurement that prioritize couple-centric outcomes.
  • Ensure tests and analyses help teams learn how to better support couples, not just move metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Zone Leadership Serve as a core Zone Lead alongside Marketing, Product, and Engineering, ensuring data science strategy is tightly integrated with Product roadmaps and Engineering execution.
  • Translate complex scientific insights into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data scientists and managers, building a culture of curiosity, rigor, and empathy.
  • Partner with Engineering to ensure infrastructure supports scalable modeling, personalization, and experimentation.
  • 10+ years in data science or applied machine learning, with 5+ years managing teams and managers.
  • Proven ability to use data science to improve user experience and outcomes in consumer-facing products.
  • Expertise in predictive modeling, marketing attribution (MMM, MTA), LTV, engagement likelihood, ranking/retrieval, and uplift modeling.
  • Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and causal inference, with fluency in Python and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of growth, activation, and retention dynamics, lifecycle messaging, personalization, and MarTech systems.
  • Experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Skilled at translating complex data insights into practical, couple-centered strategies that guide teams to act with purpose.
