About The Position

The Sr. Director, Chief of Staff is a critical position supporting senior leadership, enabling leaders to execute strategic work while ensuring operational rigor. The Chief of Staff is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining the following four strategic areas foundational for the success of the leaders of Enterprise Platforms Tech: 1) Strategy, 2) Operational Excellence, 3) Communications, and 4) Organizational Capability. Candidates should have a passion for technology, strong strategic command, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. Candidates should be excited about improving the daily lives and development of our engineers and help our leaders advance our strategy at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 9 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, or Program Management
  • At least 3 years of experience managing executive level stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, Program Management, or Agile Delivery
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy development
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, labor strategy, or budgeting
  • 5+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
  • CSM, PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner for a member of the Enterprise Tech senior leadership team, helping guide the operations and management of their organization.
  • Act as a central point of contact between the Enterprise Tech leader and other key partners across the organization.
  • Prioritize and focus leaders in a number of key areas (goals, labor strategy, budget, organizational growth, etc).
  • Understand the organization's strategy and vision, lead the Leader and their team to drive and track goals and priorities.
  • Assist the leader and their team with strategic planning including financial and resource planning in collaboration with key partners, including the Enterprise Platforms Tech Chief of Staff, Finance, and HR.
  • Create and manage effective, scalable processes to manage operating rhythms.
  • Requires an ability to lead and influence to inject new operational processes to drive executional discipline and excellence.
  • Influence across all levels of the organization and across organizations.
  • Work with the leader and their communications team to plan and execute key messages and deliver to internal and external audiences with a high priority on consistent, frequent organizational communications.
  • Develop relationships within direct and extended team members to be able to act as an informed and helpful sounding board and thought partner.
