About The Position
As the Senior Director of Business Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the franchise strategies for some of EA's most prominent brands and intellectual properties, including Battlefield, The Sims, and Apex Legends. This position requires close collaboration with the President of EA Entertainment and Studio General Managers to define and refine these strategies. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing trends across the entertainment industry that impact the market for EA Entertainment's franchises. By working closely with studio teams, you will ensure that these insights are integrated into franchise plans and strategies, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of EA's offerings in the competitive landscape. In addition to strategic planning, you will also focus on the professional development of the next generation of talent within the Strategy function. This involves mentoring early-career Strategy Generalists and managing a team of direct reports, ranging from manager to associate level. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of growth and collaboration, ensuring that team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their roles. This is a senior-level role that reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer, and it requires a deep understanding of the entertainment and technology industries, particularly in relation to gaming. You will be expected to provide expertise on the impact of changing technologies and market trends on EA Entertainment's franchises, aligning franchise strategies with the broader corporate strategy and contributing to its updates.
