Conexon is a rapidly growing telecommunications company partnering with Rural Electric Cooperatives to design and deploy advanced fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks nationwide. This role leads business intelligence, operational reporting, and project management functions to support Conexons rapid FTTH expansion and drive data informed decision making across the organization. This role exists to align data strategy with business goals, ensuring accurate insights into key metrics such as growth, customer performance, and operational efficiency. Success in this role means delivering scalable BI solutions aligned with the company’s broadband business objectives, including increasing market share, revenue growth, operational improvements and excellence. The role will empower teams with actionable insights and consistently drive measurable improvements in performance and strategic outcomes. This position collaborates with stakeholders to define critical performance metrics such as customer acquisition, churn, ARPA (Average Revenue Per Account), customer penetration rates and operational metrics, while partnering with Development to ensure data warehouse architecture and BI tools and vendors are scalable, accurate and effective. Prior experience in Broadband operations is required. In this position, you will be key in providing guidance and expertise to internal stakeholders on a wide variety of issues, including interaction with Sr. Executive staff. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive required outcomes.

  • Proven ability to multi-task, plan and organize work to meet deadlines, all with a high degree of accuracy with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend high-level goals and objectives, and subsequently create effective strategies, action plans and solutions to support their achievement
  • Analytical thinker with focus towards short- and long-term organizational goals
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in Broadband operations is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ten (10) years of experience, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of principles and practices related to broadband
  • Five (5) years of experience in managerial or leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated experience in driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiencies
  • Ability to translate complex operational findings into actionable narratives for non-technical executive stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Leadership role responsible for transforming customer and operational data into strategic growth initiatives
  • Self-starter who can carry out a complex scope of work independently and cross functionally
  • Establish and enforce standards for data quality, security, and usage of data for operational and customer reporting
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a demanding environment to achieve Team and overall company goals
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations and written communications intended for Conexon leadership and internal teams
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to fulfill the goals of this position
