Gartner analysts are industry thought leaders who create must-have research, market predictions and best practices for a broad range of world-leading organizations. Senior Directors serve as leaders within Gartner’s Research and Advisory practice, establishing themselves as a credible voice within their area(s) of expertise across industries at regional and global levels. Using exceptional research and analytical skills, Senior Directors play a significant role in producing pragmatic and provocative research that Gartner clients consume and apply to support their key objectives. They are a trusted source of advice for clients, reinforcing Gartner’s value every day by engaging them via virtual and in-person interactions, sales support visits and Gartner conferences to discuss complex client challenges and offer appropriate recommendations. As more seasoned members of the analyst team, Senior Directors also play a role in supporting junior analyst development and leading research discussions and collaboration. This role is an opportunity to join Gartner’s growing Human Resources Practice. This group is dedicated to tracking the leading edge of HR innovation — notably the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on HR and the workforce — and advising Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs) and other HR functional leaders on related HR strategies, initiatives and investments. Senior Directors are expected to offer flexibility in what they can cover and how they channel their expertise.
