About The Position

Bancroft is a leading service-provider for children and adults with autism, other intellectual or developmental disabilities or those in need of neurological rehabilitation. We are looking for Sr Direct Support Professionals that are passionate about providing quality care in a positive and empathetic manner. Our Senior Direct Support Professionals must have a strong desire to work with autistic, intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals .

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required with additional education in a related field desirable.
• Minimum of two years of related work experience, or a minimum of 6 months experience as a Program Associate in the Bancroft organization required.

Nice To Haves

• BA in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision, guidance, instruction, and/or skill building to assigned persons served within a specific Program site regarding daily living activities, safety, vocational activities, and interaction with others.
• Provides supervision to direct care staff and is in charge of Program site activities in absence of Program Manager
