About The Position

As a SR DIRECTOR, IT on the Infrastructure Operations team, you'll be responsible for directing and implementing corporate IT initiatives that support the strategy and goals of the corporation. Leads project management, business services and audit teams that support IT functions including local area network and wide area network hardware and software infrastructure development and maintenance, applications programming/analysis and enterprise systems development and administration. Assists with setting and oversees the implementation of IT standards, policies and/or master plan for the IT function. Leads the development and acquisition of new technologies and tools to improve the organization's internal operations and data delivery. Continually evaluates technology strategies. Identifies and develops new technological directions. Leads the organization in their deployment. Advises IT leadership of enhancements to existing applications and implementation of new systems. Provides strategic guidance and technical assistance to corporate and field management on IT issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT work experience.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven enterprise IT leadership experience in corporate infrastructure/data center operations.
  • Skilled in team leadership and management of both FTEs and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud FinOps (Financial Operations) and on-premises capacity management.
  • Experience in compute and database optimization and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance standards, including PCI audit support.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiency and supporting mission-critical services.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and deploy IT staff to ensure uninterrupted IT network support at maximum performance.
  • Ensure field compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Accountable for the function's budgets and approve related capital expenditures.
  • Assist with the creation and successful management of multi-million dollar budgets.
  • Negotiate multi-million dollar contracts with third-party vendors.
