About The Position
This position will serve as the lead Intellectual Property (“IP”) legal advisor for IP transaction, litigation, and contracting matters (“IPTL”). The position will support the Olympus Corporation and all worldwide group companies, including developing and implementing IP strategies for: business development, mergers and acquisitions, and investments; litigation, post-grant proceedings, and dispute resolution; and license and contract review and negotiation. The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Global Intellectual Property, and will lead a team of professionals across the areas served. Oversight responsibilities extend to IP legal matters in multiple jurisdictions across the Americas, Japan, Europe, China, and elsewhere around the world.
