About The Position

As a Senior Human Resources Director at Spectrum, you will be a strategic business partner supporting our Technology Operations organization. You will be responsible for creating and delivering policies and programs in the areas of recruitment, employment, employee engagement, employee relations, and equal opportunity employment in compliance with government regulations and company goals. Your role will involve working with leadership to ensure Human Resources strategies and initiatives align with both short- and long-term business goals for the designated client group and enterprise-wide guidelines. You will combine HR mastery, industry knowledge, and business acumen to resolve complex HR issues within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, supporting a geographically dispersed employee base. You will create, implement, and enhance consistent practices to ensure stable service delivery that aligns with company initiatives and enterprise-wide policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience, ideally in a multi-location environment with a large employee base.
  • 7+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, organizational behavior, or a related field.
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs, and expectations.
  • Strong business planning and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive management and company personnel.
  • Ability to mentor, develop, and motivate team members.
  • Expert knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures.
  • Strong PC skills and MS Office skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree.
  • Preferred certifications for Human Resource Professionals (PHR, SPHR).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and promote human resources strategies for the assigned organization in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Build strong working relationships at all levels of the organization and consult with people leaders to ensure consistent and fair resolution of employee issues/concerns.
  • Maintain credibility with management by serving as an effective listener and problem solver of people-related issues.
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business challenges and ensure effective and timely HR support.
  • Translate organizational strategic business objectives into supporting HR strategy and action plans for execution.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of new programs/strategies and regulatory actions on recruiting, motivation, development, retention, and performance.
  • Analyze and evaluate retention, performance, and workforce productivity, identifying root causes and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage recruiting and employee relations, including review and approval of hires and terminations.
  • Facilitate and support performance management, merit planning, and employee surveys.
  • Partner with HR leadership to develop enterprise-wide HR programs and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Hire, train, and manage performance and development of direct reports.
  • Participate in budget and forecasting planning and manage departmental expenses.
