About The Position

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has a long-term contract for Sr. Digital Design Engineers to research, design, develop and test electronic equipment and systems including: radar detection/communications equipment and systems, circuitry components, computers, and Digital Signal Processing equipment. The position is 100% onsite at our client's Scottsdale, AZ facility.

Requirements

• Must be US Citizen due to work being performed.
• Must be eligible to obtain a DoD clearance (Active Secret or Top Secret is preferred at time of hire).
• BS degree in a STEM field and 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Experience with schematic capture.
• Extensive experience designing multi-layer Printer Circuit Boards with controlled impedance layers and blind micro-vias.
• Able to analyze and test for signal integrity, crosstalk, etc.
• Familiar with several families of Micro Processors, Micro Controllers, FPGAs and System-on-Chips.
• Demonstrates initiative on assignments, exercises strong independent judgment.
• Able to technically lead/mentor less senior engineers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Mentor design tools.
• High Reliability or Space experience.
• Experience with Worst Case Analysis, Stress Analysis.
