Website: https://www.nnmc.com Job Summary: This Sr. Dietary Aide opportunity is Part Time and offers a convenient schedule. Under the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the Diet Clerk performs a variety of patient food service duties in the clerk office and café. The position includes use of computer programs to assist patients and visitors in meal selections. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
ServSafe Certification preferred.
Foodservice experience, or equivalent nutrition coursework, preferred.

Responsibilities

Obtains necessary information from reports or computer systems (Clerks: Cerner/CBORD, Cashiers: Simphony) such as diet/supplement orders, allergies, recipes and daily ops summary.
Utilizes computer, or register, systems appropriately to record orders, preferences and allergies.
Documentation meets requirements of position. For cashier, this includes maintaining cash drawer and daily deposits
Identifies and understands different therapeutic diets. Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge of diets when assisting patients with meal choices. For cashier, understands menu and recipes to assist customers in meal choices.
