About The Position

As a Qualcomm Diagnostics Engineer, you will join a global team of experts to advance logic & memory diagnostics and advanced analytics including the application of artificial intelligence to provide industry-leading diagnostics solutions to Qualcomm business units. This role is critical in identifying, analyzing, and resolving yield problems & questions across the manufacturing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor diagnostics, analysis, artificial intelligence, and data-driven problem solving, with a focus on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in semiconductor diagnostics, DFT engineering, yield engineering, or failure analysis.
  • Strong understanding of AI model evaluation, tuning, and explainability techniques
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic flows, including MBIST, scan chain analysis, and wafer map interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to all levels of management.
