As Sr. DevSecOps Engineer I, you’ll be a focused cloud engineer with a strong foundation in building and securing modern, cloud-native systems, combining software development expertise with infrastructure and automation. Skilled in designing resilient deployment pipelines and managing containerized workloads in Kubernetes-based environments, with an emphasis on security, scalability, and compliance. Brings a practical, systems-level understanding of how applications, infrastructure, and networking layers interact to deliver reliable and secure solutions. Requirements

  • An active, or the ability to obtain a, Secret level clearance or higher
  • 4+ years of experience in a DevSecOps cloud role.
  • Strong Linux administration and Bash scripting skills; experience with DISA STIGs is desirable.
  • Strong experience developing tools with Golang or Python asyncio.
  • In-depth experience designing CI/CD pipelines with rigorous security and testing stages.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with the HTTP protocol and web servers.
  • Deep understanding of containerization and how containers work.
  • Experience working with CNCF landscape technologies.
  • Experience deploying Kubernetes workloads with IaC.
  • Experience deploying FedRAMP or DoD IL2 equivalent public cloud workloads with IaC.

Responsibilities

  • Work in product-focused Agile teams, participating in ceremonies and directly supporting developers and government customers.
  • Continuously improve product infrastructure and platform capabilities using automation to support developers, data scientists, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Support development teams by using automation to deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot web applications and AI-enabled services, progressing from IL2 to IL4+ secure cloud environments.
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support application delivery, experimentation, and software supply chain requirements.
  • Automate the provisioning of virtual machines and container platforms using configuration management, enabling consistent and repeatable environments for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Enable secure access to cloud services and internal capabilities via custom APIs, including token-based access controls and service-to-service authentication.
  • Support secure experimentation environments, including notebooks and web-based IDEs (e.g., VS Code), while enforcing security and access controls.
  • Implement and maintain secure package management, artifact repositories, and controlled dependency update processes.
  • Support secure data transfer and access to segmented environments by integrating SSO and role-based access controls across platform services.
  • Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and availability using enterprise observability tools.
