About The Position

CGI Federal is a leader in IT and business consulting services, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects by leveraging their expertise in Linux-based systems and cloud technologies. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at CGI Federal, you will be responsible for understanding the overall CI/CD pipeline as well as deploying and configuring services using Infrastructure as a Service providers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, while driving continuous improvement and automation. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

4+ Years' experience managing a DevOps team implementing a cloud-based solution
4+ Years experience with Git/Gitlab, Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and AWS
4+ Years managing a DevOps team that supports 5 or more engineering teams
Possess experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
Be comfortable with Agile approaches.
Have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Possess strong troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Manage a DevOps team, implementing, and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI / CD pipelines for application deployments
Manage version control systems
Configure, build, deploy, and manage containers
Provide technical expertise to ensure the ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of client applications.
Configure and manage Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.
