About The Position

Cortex Management LLC dba Cortex seeks Sr. Developers in Irving, TX. Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to design and implement quality solutions. Design, develop and test cloud-based applications using Azure services to ensure secure applications that are reliable and scalable. Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback to maintain code quality and ensure best practices. Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full application stack to identify and implement solutions in a timely manner. Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code while adhering to coding standards and guidelines. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools and technologies. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates and present solutions in an Agile environment. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of related experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of related experience.
• 5 years of experience with the following: Developing Microsoft web-based applications; Developing solutions with C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server; Developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components using technologies including .NET C#, React JS or Knockout JS, REST API, MS SQL, and ASP.NET MVC Core.
• 3 years of experience with the following: Azure services including Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps; Developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components using technologies including Graph QL API or RPC Style API, MS SQL and ASP.NET MVC, Azure Dev Ops, Azure Storage and Azure cloud services.
• 2 years of experience as a Developer or Senior Developer.
