About The Position

This position is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining existing and new applications; knowing one or more programming languages; knowing one or more development methodologies / delivery models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree and 4 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 years Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience.
  • Ability to sit and perform computer entry for entire work shift.
  • Ability to manage workload, manage multiple priorities, and manage conflicts with customers/employees/managers.
  • Experience in traditional app languages (COBOL / Perl / C+).
  • Experience in scripting languages (BASH / PERL / PYTHON / RUBY).
  • Experience in application / product feature design.
  • Experience in integration technologies (Tibco/Informatica/CAS).
  • Experience in application configuration.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping.
  • Familiarity with SDLC Methodology (Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development).
  • Experience in system performance management.
  • Experience in systems change / configuration management.
  • Experience in business requirements management.
  • Strong problem solving / analytical thinking skills.
  • Creative thinking abilities.
  • Ability to execute tasks effectively.
  • Travel availability up to 20%.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience using JIRA.
