Requirements

• 4+ years experience in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) packaging design for wholesale channels from concept through execution
• Demonstration of design expertise through robust portfolio with an emphasis in print design
• Mastery of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and InDesign

Nice To Haves

• Experience in chocolate, candy, food, or beverage consumer packaged goods categories
• Worked in both blue chip and mid-sized consumer packaged goods companies
• Writing experience including taglines, seasonal sentiments, product descriptions, and product naming
• Working knowledge of print limitations and tolerances

Responsibilities

• Partners with Marketing team to define brand architecture and distinctive assets
• Key partner in alignment to project strategy (i.e., Creative Briefs) before execution
• Creates package designs that are on-equity and delight consumers based on shopper & consumer research
• Builds presentations and speaks to creative concepts with Marketing, Innovation, and Executive Leadership teams
• Reviews design work from our internal Creative team and external agency partners, providing creative coaching and proofing
• Partners closely with Print Production and Digital Creative teams to ensure executional excellence
