This opportunity entails being responsible for assisting assigned department by performing engineering-related tasks including research, development, calculations, design and delivery on assigned project(s). Leverages technical knowledge to assist in the execution and evaluation of project designs. Develops conceptual and detailed designs and calculations to support the project execution using current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or related field and 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree in Drafting or related field and 8 years of relevant experience, or In lieu of education, 10 years of related experience

OpenRoads Designer Experience (2D & 3D)
AutoCAD Experience
Bluebeam Revu Experience
Familiarity with design and workflows associated with civil infrastructure engineering projects
Familiarity with MoDOT Design Standards and processes

Responsibilities

Responsible for completion of discipline engineering project elements such as reports, designs, specifications, and plans.
Coordinates with engineer when plans are ready to be signed.
Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Assists the engineer in outlining objectives, requirements, and design approaches.
Performs other duties as assigned.
