About The Position

Perform design and release of exterior lighting components including headlamp and rear lamp assemblies from concept through production; create CAD models and drawings in CATIA V5 and V6 or NX, applying GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design for manufacturability and assembly; prepare bills of materials, statements of requirements for RFQ, and cost and feasibility inputs for supplier nomination; plan part timing to meet vehicle milestones and follow the PLM change-control process; conduct packaging and mounting studies to satisfy styling, thermal, photometric, electrical harness, and regulatory requirements; support DFMEA, PFMEA, process flow, APQP, PPAP, and DVP&R validation with cross-functional teams and suppliers; track test results, perform problem solving and corrective actions, and verify effectiveness prior to gateway reviews; prepare design concept sheets, technical files, and release documentation, and provide status updates and risk mitigation summaries to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering and five years of experience.
