Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Valid US Driver’s License
Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
1+ year experience in Quality Control or other Auto Port Processing Operations.
Drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles.

Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
Must be able to create a plan for upcoming work.

Must be flexible and capable of adjusting work plans as issues arise.
Ability to effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Following each production planning meeting, ensure there are QC inspectors assigned to each of the process areas to be worked on by the Production teams by coordinating with the Department Manager and/or Survey Supervisor daily.
Work with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure adequate labor levels are met for the upcoming demands.
Report to the QC Manager concerning recurring or serious deficiencies, as they occur.
Ensure that all QC records and files required by customers are maintained and stored as required.
Update and maintain QC employee time and attendance records.
Ensure department training courses are up to date and properly documented.
Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
Assist in performing internal ISO audits as required.
Assist in the gathering, documenting and recording of quality data.
Perform internal quality system audits as required.
Assist in updating and maintaining the documentation of ISO forms and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
