A Day in the Life As a Senior Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring reliable product availability for life-saving medical devices by leading enterprise-level demand planning activities. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, and Global Operations to develop accurate demand forecasts, align cross-functional inputs, and drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and planning processes. You will operate in a highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing environment where forecast quality directly impacts patient care, service levels, inventory health, and financial performance. This position requires strong analytical capability, business acumen, and the ability to influence across a matrixed organization for PCS portfolio Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or healthcare-related supply chains.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Operations).
  • APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting global product portfolios and multi-site manufacturing networks.
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, forecasting models, or digital supply chain initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, integrates and provides account or brand-specific forecasts for internal sales and operations planning which includes replenishment data, point-of sale data, sales promotion information, marketing plans, manufacturing capacity, and new distribution/product deletions.
  • Assists in the improvement of demand forecasting accuracy for internal and external customers including determining the appropriate algorithm for statistical forecasts.
  • Maintains and manages product history, accurate forecasting, and promotional demand.
  • Analyzes internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns.
  • Aligns sales/marketing intelligence for each operating unit for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, research and development, and related forecasting and planning groups.
