About The Position

The Senior Demand Planner for Amazon Fresh will be responsible for medium to long-term demand planning programs for the US business. This role involves analyzing and launching programs to ensure high-quality forecasts for products sold both in stores and online. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills and the ability to manage various stakeholders, driving innovation and efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Excel
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
• Experience working with complex data sets
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
• Experience with SQL

Responsibilities

• Analyze forecast variance and understand root causes, presenting findings in business reviews.
• Support strategic planning discussions for Amazon Fresh.
• Communicate insights effectively to senior leaders through written documents and updates.
• Collaborate with various teams including Vendors, Category Teams, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to establish a consolidated demand plan.
• Critically inspect demand forecasts and challenge assumptions from business teams.
• Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements.
